Hello, I am Dr. Susan D. Wells, a general dentist from Alabama. I graduated from University of Alabama Dental School in 1978 and went immediately to private practice. Later, I got trained in business management, case acceptance and marketing after which my practice grew steadily. The past 11 years my practice grew quite a bit, with my new patients going from 30 to 70 per month, staying steady even in the recession of 2009. I am still practicing dentistry full time today.

 A few years ago I decided that I wanted to help other dentists achieve the same level of success that I have enjoyed with my own practice. So, in 2004 my husband Jyrki Ikonen, who worked as my office manager for many years, and I created our own dental marketing firm.
